Presumably you mean the security immobilizer circuit to add additional anti-theft or a remote start to the vehicle.
You'd consult the diagram for it to find its wiring designations then it is plugged (if connector based) or grafted into the ignition switch, then either you put a PATS2 chip from one of your already -programmed keys into it, or using 2 already programmed keys, you program in the new chip that comes with it, allowing the vehicle to be started by an alternate means using authentication from this bypass module instead of having a key in the ignition.
If it is an additional layer of security immobilizer then it probably has one or more relay which also have inputs wired into the vehicle wiring for things like ignition, starter, and/or fuel pump, AND you would need to pick an always live 12V circuit and ground to power the unit.
