Welcome to the Forum.:wavey:
The forum has a very handy 'Search' program. I used it to search on "cabin air filter" and found this thread and merged yours with it.
I seen the photos on how to remove the filter. My question is, Is there any white pins on both sides that need to be removed on a 2013 Explorer? I seen a video on YouTube and it shows a 2011 with the guy removing the White pins. Thats why i am asking if there are 2 white pins need to be removed on a 2013? Thanks Steve....

If you guys are referring to the glovebox pins, you can actually press the black tabs above the glove box to let the glove box drop down more. It provides plenty of room to access the cabin air filter without removing the pins that hold the glovebox in place.
Peter, Thanks for the Information. Right after i made my last post i went outside and checked under the seats and yes, there they were. All filters are now clean. Glad this fourm is around.
Thanks to all with your help. Steve...

This is absolutely the way to do it! We have a 2011 XLT.
Just be careful of breaking the clips that hold the filter cover on........
They break pretty easy.... But one will still hold it.
And the filter was nasty dirty. First time I have changed it. and its sitting on 56,000 miles.
