I'd like to see if we can get all the Calgary area Explorer owners to post on this thread. I'd like to get together with you and I know that Barry M would too. I know that you are out there. Lets see a show of hands!!!

Hi Paul, I for one would like to tell you that I live in Calgary, bred from 100% pure Calgary, Alberta, Canada land!! I would love to get together sometime, I am sure there are many others on this board that live in or around the outskirts of Calgary that would also like to participate in a get-together!!

I live in Calgary right now and go to U of C. I'm originally from the Republic of Singapore. It's really strange though....somehow i get the feeling that people aren't used to seeing Asians driving a Ford Explorer around here....i get lots of stares...LOL! Maybe they expected me to be in a Toyota, Honda or Nissan! LOL!
Anyway, i'd love to meet up with you guys and learn more about the Ford Explorer....and the people who drive them.

Hello everybody!! I am so HAPPY to see more and more people arriving to this wonderful forum to talk cars, women, and of course Explorers! I am especially happy to see more and more people from Calgary, Alberta, Canada!

What I wouldn't mind doing is setting up a possible get-together sometime within the next month or so with everyone from the Explorer board that lives in or around Calgary! I am thinking it could be fun; we can maybe have a barbeque, talk Explorer, etc.

YUP! I'm extremely happy too. I just became an SUV owner from driving a Civic. At first i thought i'd be all alone on this, but soon realized that there are many people out there who modify their Explorers to look good, work well and play hard. Ok, I think we are set!

Ok.. after speaking with Amos (PLRBEAR) on the phone today (Sunday, May 20), we have decided that we as a group should have a quick get together tomorrow (Monday, May 21) in the parking lot of Chinook Center. I am thinking this will work out really well because if I am not mistaken, Chinook Center is closed tomorrow for the holiday! Basically, if you come tomorrow, say around 1:30pm, it will go on till everyone leaves, and we will just talk Explorer, say hi, get to know one another, and admire our shiny clean Explorers (dirty Explorers are also welcome LOL)!

I apologize for arranging all of this in such short notice, but no worries, if you can't attend this meeting, I am sure we will have another one in the first week of June, or maybe sooner!!

Whoever is interested in coming, please call Peter (ilikedellcomputers) on his cellular phone, preferably before Sunday, 11:00pm at 606 5375.

My place next month , you can all help me install a 2" body lift ...... LOL.... Well if your not scared to get your trucks dirty maybe a trip to one of our ORV trails, Or ?......If any one wants to go for a coffe some time i got the whole week off, Heck i dont know .
By the way i got the tow hooks on the truck took a littel more time than i figured it would but if any one wants a hand to put em on ther rig i can get the hooks for $30 you just need a drill

Talk about digging up an old thread.

I've got a lot of work to do around the house. I'm going to be moving in one week. What part of town are you all in? Chinook Centre is a little farther than I'd want to go tomorrow, I've got too much to do. Sunridge Mall would be a better location for me and I wouldn't be able to stay too long..

I'm in NW Calgary, down at the Dalhousie area. Anywhere in Calgary is pretty much fine for me. I can only stay for about 1hr or so from 1.30pm. I hope we can decide where and when by tonight!! I really want to check out everyone's ride.
