cam assembly on a '91 won't go on front axle

I'm ready to explode. Trying to do a simple brake job, and I keep running into problems. First a very expensive axle nut, now I can't seem to get the cam assembly to slide on. I have auto hubs. please help.it seems as though the assembly is just to small.

What cam assembly are you speaking of? You mean the hub over the spindle.
Did you torque the wheel bearings properly? is the rotor seated all the way back on teh spindle?

I know exactly what you're talking about... The nylon cam is pretty much an exact fit, therfore you need to press it on evenly or it just pops off the other end... You need to find a piece of pipe to press it on. I have a 10" long piece of 1.5" PVC pipe that I use for this purpose... I works like a charm every time... Before this I tried for 2 hours thinking something was wrong...
