I'm finishing building up a 4.0 OHV. I've gotten myself confused and want to confirm the correct orientation of the cam position sensor. I've attached a picture showing the orientation when I removed the sensor. I know I set the crank to TDC on #1, but at the time I didn't know if it was on the compression stroke or not. I left the crank in that position until I pulled the timing cover to confirm one or the other, but I don't remember what I concluded. Is the pictured orientation correct? Or am I 180 degrees out?
