Cam Sensor

My code showed a bad cam sensor. So now I have to replace it I hope. I don't think I need any special tools being as I'm stuck in New Mexico with very little tools/

It was P0340? Read here, maybe it's just the alternator (like it was also in my case).

If you have a 5.0L, the alternator is the most likely problem. Ford had a special service message back in the day about alternator interference setting P0340.
