Sorry to beat a REALLY dead horse, but I'm really concerned right now. My truck has made the noise when first started and I didn't think it was a big deal. After searching I'm afriad that when it goes it's new engine time.
If I get this fixed now how much and will this "cure" my worries?
Before I assumed that if it went, like my sundace, you just need a new one. From searching it sound like you need to pull the engine even to get the rear one replaced and if they do break I'm REALLY SCREWED.
What is the percentage of problems, how concerned should I be. The noise has been like this since I bought it at 60k, now at nearly 100k it's still the same, mabe a little noiseier.
