Ok guys im at a loss trying to fix my camber prob on my D44.

No one can find the camber shim for me. I am out 1 1/4 on my camber and have been wearing tire for sometime now. I need to find this part.

It goes between the knuckle and the spindle.

I'm not sure what axle you have but the picture above is for the D44 from a Chevy K20 -- part # 2642410.

But why is the camber so bad? Did you knock the knuckles out and welded them at the wrong angle? If so, I'd just cut the weld and correct the angle.

That is what im looking for. They told me they didnt have them. The camber is so bad because i had a allingment last friday so i took the old camber shim out so i could get a base reading and get a new one. Well so far i have not been able to find one. Anywhere. Ill have them look up that part number for me.

Thanks Iz

They could not find that part.......

I have not moved the knuckles.

they suck dittley uck

Tell me about it.

OH and even the Ford dealer cant find what im looking for.

Ahhhh NAPA found it. Its on the way...

Why couldnt you find it before?

Its strange that your camber is so off, maybe you have a bent knuckle or spindle?

hmm.. that sounds like the correct long term fix.

What about the balljoint thing-a-majig that is on the top ball joint? I thought you could turn that and correct some of it there too.

Yeah I was thinking about that too -- with the offset hole
