ive done alot of reasearch about spark plugs and spark plug wires on the board and still cannot find the right ones for me my applications are for light to mild 4x4in mostly in mud and water but i spent most of the time on the road so i am looking for some plugs and wires that will be durable and will perform well. Ive heard good things about ford motorsport plugs and wires and ngk plugs and autozones lifetime wires and ive heard terrible things about bosch products. But im still confused i would like to get the best plugs and wires out there for my applications. any info would be greatly appreciated

I like my accel 8mm wires and ngk plugs..if that helps you at all. There are plenty of good products to choose from...

The "best" plug for your X is the factory recomended Motorcraft plug. Any quality aftermarket wire set will work. It doesn't matter who, what, when or where they are made. You will not be able to tell the difference between a Ford Motorsport wire and a MSD wire, or an Acell wire and a Split Fire wire. They all work the same, and do the same job, the only difference (aside from appearence) is the wire you decide is the best is the one that will allow you to sleep comfortably at night.

I'll second that....I still run Motorcraft plugs and wires..Have all the mods...You will never be running high enough RPM and compression that the millisecond difference will show. Save the bucks for other mods.
