Can anyone tell me the demensions for the cargo area?

im thinking of getting an 02 XLT, just trying to see the space between the wheel wells, the space from side to side above the wheel wells, from the floor to the top of the back seats and distance from the back seats to the tail gate

trying to see how many cubes i can fit with space for the batts and amps, will be 2 batts in the back and 3 amps, trying to see whats the easiest way to mount everything, wanting to do 4 15s in 16ish cube box tuned to around 33hz, 240sq in port

dont know the exact subs yet, but im looking, it needs to be at least 1000rms per sub, and i dont like to run mainstream stuff ie: kicker etc... and i'd like to keep it around 250 per sub, but i odnt know how that will fare

Hmmm, there is a pic around here somewhere with the dimensions on it. I probably have it on my hard drive somewhere.

I don't think I have it. The pic was probably in a subwoofer install, or sub enclosure thread if that helps.

For subs, try Elemental Designs Spv.2. 15" D2 sub capable of burping around 4-5krms. People have hit 150's on TL legal with only one. And it still sounds good with music, unlike the RE MT's listed in your sig. lol eduh plz provide stats pages for these ppl hitting over a '50 with one.

I've seen a 9ft3 box in a 02+ w/ 2 15"s and it looked kinda tight in there (keeping it below the window line). I'd like to know the cargo area size too, im sure it's a tad larger than a 95-01 4dr since the explorer was lengthened and widened for 02+.

Also I had one in my old car and in a 3.2 cu ft. box tuned to 29 hz with only 1500rms going to it and hit a 144.3. The box was tuned waaay too low.

i would think if meade can fit 4 18s in 20cube net box in a tahoe with 4 odyssey 2150s, i can fit 4 15s in a explorer, im not worried about the window line, i passed that line a while back
