There is a rubber tube that bends at a 90 degree out of the driver side of the intake, then goes towards the left side of the intake, passes under, and looks like it goes into the top of the head. It'd make me think PVC valve tubing?

You can see in the last picture mine has a hole in it, and is making a sucking noise at idle. It sounds like it has vacuum on it, as the more throttle i give it the less the sucking noise is.

Car is idling rough, and gets worse as the engine temp warms up.

Putting tape over the hole helped, but the tap isn't sealing anymore.

Thanks for the help.

Eric

No, but JB Weld for the win! :D

Seriously, just slap some JB Weld over it and call it good.

I haven't had your problem here with this PCV elbow myself, but from what I have read about PCV valves in here, that hole in this elbow is your problem. You should be able to find posts in here on that topic(PCV hose or elbow leaks) and of the ones I have read, some people purchased automotive rubber hose elbows from a parts store and some bought the factory replacement and both have worked for them. Parts store stuff would be the cheaper way to go.

It was infact the PVC tubing. Replaced and running fine. Thanks for the help guys.
