Do any brands match to the factory Sirius tuner? Or, at the very least, the factory antenna? My ST has the little "mouse" antenna on the roof, and I don't see me prying it off there to swap it with some other proprietary antenna, just to try to change it back when I sell the vehicle. Seems silly.

I have no idea what aftermarket head unit would use the factory Sirius adapter but you CAN use the built-in antenna but you have to break the little plastic cover off of the plug.

Oh, I'm assuming your 08 is set up the same as my 06. If so, the Sirius receiver is right behind the front passenger right kick panel and you may have to add some extension wires to your aftermarket receiver to reach that spot because I'm pretty sure that antenna wire is too short to move.

I could just put the new box in the same place and stow away the Ford one. Thanks for the information.

My aftermarket box didn't reach because the wires were too short. I had to extend the yellow and black wires. If you have a similar setup, you might want to disconnect the battery first because that yellow is 12v, 20 amp constant power.

Not a problem. I disconnect for all my audio installs.
