i know most people bore out the center of the wheel but i really do not want to do that and i would like to know if spacers or adapters will do the trick
i think it depends on the wheel. i dont have dubs, but my aftermarkets had a big enough hole that i could just run them w/o a cap, or with an open cap.
You'd have to run a minimum of a 1 inch adapter (not spacer). Not only will that make your front wheels stick out rediculously far, it will be unsafe in my estimation (I'm very anti-spacer/adapter). It would cost $300-400 for a good set.
i have 20''s on a my 98'eddie bauer explorer. i don't have any trouble rolling them anywheres that i can see. and i dont have low pros on them i have a good bit of tire.
