can i go to 22"s?

hey guys... I have a 1999 XLT... can I fit a 22" rim without any lift? thanks

Also does anyone have pics of their X with 20"s or 22"s so I can see how each size looks? Thanks again

Here's a 2006 on 22's. Coulda went with 24's. Not sure about fit on a 99 though.

did you have to do any extra modifications for those to fit or did you just keep it stock?

otherwise it is bone stock.

I'd stick with 20s and 22s and fit as much rubber as possible so your ride will be decent and your rims won't have the chance of getting bent.

ok thanks guys... how much would mpg be affected with either size? also please keep posting pics of 20's and 22's that are on an X... i want to see if i like the 22's on them enough to spring the extra money
