Can i run a 2.72 up front and a 3.08 in the rear???

I HAVE A DANA 44 IN THE FRONT WITH A 2.72 gear ratio. the rear is a stock 8.8 explorer. with a 3.08 gear ratio. is this a close enough gear set to use 4x4 without anything binding up?

Nope, it's gotta be within .01 or so.

Might work in the mud for a while but not on any hard surface. You will eventually damage your tcase, drive shafts, and/or the gearsets.
