Can I trust the keypad?

if im wearing gym shorts or something, ill just lock them in the glove box and use the pad....never had a problem

it was my only way into my vehicle for a while.... i didnt have a keyfob to unlock the doors and the salt and water got into the tumblers in the doors and none of them work now.....so the keypad had to work.... i got so used to using it when i finally got a remote keyfob i almost never used it....

just make sure the battery doesnt go dead and youll be fine.... if something does happen you can have the police slim jim it open for you....

I don't really have that problem because my vehicle shuts any lights off that are left on for more than 45 min automatically.

Also, i too show no signs of wear on the buttons and mine's almost 9 years old.
