10W30-5W30 yes. I'm not so sure about others though....

sure... it just depends on the climates you live in and the prospective use of the truck

I live in northern california and the truck will be used as an everyday truck nothing big:exp:

oh ok... a local guy :)
ever want to go to hollister and do some 4x4 ing? i have a convertible X.... i normally run 10-30 or 10-40 but since summer is approaching i see no reason not to use a thinner oil.... but why do you want6 to use something else other than the recomemnded stock?

5W30 is the oil that Ford recommends for all climates for your motor. Ford also says 10w30 is acceptable (and it will probably be better if you have a high mileage motor)

I run 0w30 Mobil 1 in my truck in the Florida heat and change at 8-10k intervals.

I have had NO problrms.

I went to 9w30 from 5w30 to improve gas mileage and it did inded work to that goal.

Good luck
