This past fall, I got my first failure on the right rear tire on my 2016 Explorer Sport. Contacted the dealer and I thought what they wanted to replace the sensor was excessive, $70 for the sensor, $200 to reprogram it. Probably more shop charges. Glad I didn't do it as in the next few months, 2 of the remaining 3 sensors failed, unless they would have replaced all 4 this would get expensive.
As fate would have it, I won a TPS system for my camper and it has enough extra sensors I could put them on my Explorer. I'm tired of turning off the clearing the warning everytime I drive and the light is always flashing.
