My 2005 Ford Explorer XLT has been at the FORD dealer for nearly a week to replace 2 valve stems with the TPMS sensors. They cant seem to "train" the sensors to communicate with the system.
They have replaced the sensors, replaced the module controlling the sensors, and they are telling me now that they need to go to another dealership who has the "machine/software" to complete the training job. The excuse being that their software is new and doesnt go back that far [i.e. all the way back to 2005]. They have already charged me $368. for the two valve stems and the training. Do any of this make sense??
