Cannot get my backdoor to lock on 2001 explorer sport trac

My 2001 Explorer Sport Trac backdoor will not lock. I tried the 7+8/9+0 buttons, locking it internally and have had no luck whatsoever. If anyone has advice, tips and assistance it will be greatly appreciated. Thank you :exp:
