I searched and people say there are clips and my Haynes says there is a hose clamp. I see neither. Are the gray things the clips retaining it in? How do I disconnect the filler pipe? Thanks

Interesting, are those required fittings for a vehicle in Canada, and what fuel is that for? The tank will have a basic nipple end like a radiator connection.

Do those plastic clips push inward towards the center of the hose? I'd try that, squeezing them inward while pulling the hose out. Start with the vent hose first. Good luck,

Just regular gas. I'll have a go at it again. I tried to push the plastic in but its kinda hard to do.

Okay I got the filler pipe off. It was at least rotating. The vent pipe however wont budge in any direction. So I sprayed it with PB Blaster, not expecting that to work but I am done for today and I'll try tomorrow. Is it impossible to get the tank out with the vent hose still attached? I guess I could cut it and reconnect it later. Its only made of flexible plastic. Oh well I got the tank drained today at least.

oh ya and the clips...I pushed one side in with a flat head and kind of held it so it wouldn't pop back and then pushed in the other side.

I was able to change the pump without taking the vent pipe off.
