Alright, I ordered my lift and I should be getting it on Thursday; I ordered my tires and rims and I should get them tomorrow. My street had a cookout today, and while I was sitting there bored I decided to take a look at what I was dealing with as far as the lift goes. I plan on doing it on Saturday, and I thought it would be good to spray some liquid wrench on the bolts, and the my rig ready for the lift.

Ok, so here's the question... where is the 5th body bolt (on each side)? I got the one that is infront of the seat, the one right behind the seat, the one that is under the rear carpet, and the one that is under the rear kick plate. Can anyone tell me where the other one is? I would be so greatful if someone could tell me. I printed out the tips on doing the body lift, and they didn't say exactly where it was.

Thanks a bunch,
Chris

Ok, I feel dumb now. I just looked at the second page of tips, and found something that I think is useful... where the bolts are! So correct me if I am wrong about these locations:
-Under the front bumper (or atleast around there)
-Infront of the front seats
-Right behind the front seats
-Under the rear seats
-Right under the rear carpet (not under the kick plate)

Now, I have a 2 door, so i think that would make a difference. It seemed to me that under the rear kick plate there were two body bolts, but they didn't have covers on them. I guess it would make sense that the 4th set of bolts (moving from front to back) are behind the rear seats under the carpet. So I guess what I am trying to say is, are the bolts under the kick plate body bolts, and if so the last one I need is by the front bumper? If they are not body bolts, I guess I have to take out my rear seats.

Thanks a whole lot guys... I just wana make sure I know what I am doing before I get into it on Saturday!

Thanks,
Chris

If you look under your truck at the frame, the front bolts should be right in front of the radiator, or, put another way, on the frame-rails, between the bumper and the radiator.

You should be spraying the liquid wrench on from underneath, too. That's where they will need it most!

Yeah, I got them from the top and bottom with liquid wrench.

So, are the bolts under the rer kick plate body bolts? They look like they have the same setup as the others, but they had no cover over them.

Thanks,
Chris
