Cant find any info

I did a search for exaust but i didnt come up with anything for a V8. There are plenty of posts for 4.0L. I was just on the flowmaster site and the only muffler that they had a price for an explorer was the 70 series, which after reading about it is the quietest one they sell. Would i be able to put another series flowmaster on my truck? Or will i be stuck buying a 70 series? And has anyone heard this exhaust i was just wondering if it sounded any differnt than my stock system. Thanx

You can get what ever muffler you want. There's plenty of people here with 40 and 50 series.

where are you from? i know a really good muffler shop around here that can do anything you want. well actually most performance muffler shops will fabb any thing you want. but yeh i know tons of people with 40 series.

I have a flomaster daul in single out 3". Sounds good but i doan't have a tail pipe on it yet. I own an exhaust shop. I hacked two cons. and have two in place an it sound awesome. Headers are in the plans when i fine them. I have a 98 5.0 GT40 P

yeh mine used to sound good when i had the 40 series flow with no tail pipe. it sounded so mean. but i had no backpressure. so i put on a tip. it still sounds allright. but i miss the old sound

What is the best flowmaster to get in your opinion? I dont really know how any of these sound. I dont want something too loud in the interior ..... im just looking for a little rumble when i hit the gas.

depends how much you want to spend. if you can have a shop make you custom cat-back exhuast with a 2 chamber flowmaster muffler then that would be nice.

it also depends on your perspective of little rumble... mine has a little rumble of a v10....and i have a 6 cylinder

I'd go with the two baffle Flomaster. And put a resonater if its to loud.

would i be able to just take off my stock muffler and replace it with a flowmaster or do i have to get soemoen to bend pipes or buy pipes?
