I have a 94 E.B. MFD sticker 11/94. I am going to put a cd player in it cause the po's cut the factory harnesses and my wife drives it and shes up my ass to get some tunes. So I'm digging for diagrams and everything i find says g/y wire for constant. my truck does not have this wire or any other matching and no wires or speakers in the doors either. with luck ill find a factory connect at the jy. I am just stumped as to why my trucks wires are so different. Oh in their hast the po's cut the 4x4 controller harness too. I swear either some people are extremely stupid or just A-holes.

11/94 build date.... That a late production date for a '94. You sure thats not a '95?

X2 , just saw a 10/90 build date on a 1991 Explorer in the junkyard.

I bet it's a '95. I bought two vehicles that were a year later then the actual date I bought them. In 10/84 I bought an '85 Truck and in 10/88 I bought an '89 car.

Check the Reggy sticker on the window for what they consider your 'X' to be.

Change-over years are funny sometimes... They can either be early or late. Usually anything after september is the next model year. The dealer I worked at had a '97 F150 in march of '96.

Always go by the VIN if your not sure... The 10 digit is the year.

Should be fairly obvious by the body style if it's a 95 and not a 94.

No I'm the idiot, though I had lots of luck at the JY. The wires are the color indicated by the diagrams and i found all the connectors I needed at the JY. Apparently I'm color blind at night. It still sucks the truck has no speakers but at least ill be able to easily figure out how to by pass them now that I have the factory connects. Any one ready to Fish wires. Oh, I do believe my truck is a 94 because the owners manual says 94 and the harnesses I got were out of a 3/93 X E.B.:D Today has been good.

Yeah I have the square grill also more than sure its a 94
