Cant Separate Elec Conn on Blower Resistor

I can remove the resistor pack from the blower motor housing, but I can't remove the electrical connector. The resistors are rusted up bad. I tried using a combination of pliers and flat-head screwdrivers, but I'm just marring up the electrical connector. Would penetrating oil be a good idea?

Spray a little WD-40 into the connector, wait about 5-10 minutes, then try to lift it out with a fine screwdriver.

If you destroy the connector, you should be able to purchase a replacement.
