I cannot get the shifter into park. Nor, could I find anything on the web or this forum for a fix. Any ideas? Everything else seems to work fine. The shifter literally won't go to "park" when the brake pedal is pushed in (like normal). I checked fuse 18 and it's good. Both brake lights work fine. Was hoping someone ran into this as well before I start taking things apart. Thanks.

Welcome to the Forum.
I don't believe anyone has had that issue before. Many have received a "Shift to Park" warning but that was with the shifter actually in the 'Park' position. There is a "brake shift interlock" (page 283 of the 4th print Manual) but that allows the shifter to be taken out of Park in case of a dead battery etc. I don't know if that may be causing the reverse problem now.

Thanks for the response Peter. I was thinking the same thing and why I checked the fuse and brake lights. My thoughts is that it’s something mechanical. I was just hoping before I took the entire center console out, someone else may have ran into the same issue. I’ll let everyone know what I find. Cheers!

To get at the brake shift interlock you don't have to disassemble the console.
