I keep forgetting to update Morgan's thread, woops!
I went back to Maaco the week before the All Ford Nationals because my "stealthy" paintjob had officially faded to white on his roof. There was no way I was going to a huge car show with a powdered donut of an Explorer. I decided to have him painted the color of Blackjack's platinum grey fender flares so I could slap black stripes on him and have the "photo negative" Explorer I've always wanted. Maaco uses a yellowish clearcoat, unfortunately, so the end result is more brownish grey than I like.. but it's close enough

This time Morgan got normal paint instead of that rat rod semi-gloss, because I'm not going through this fading paint crap again! I has shiny dents, lolz. I ran out of time before Carlisle to get his stripes on, but they're there now (albeit a little crooked on the hatch... but whatever. Spare tire covers it up anyway).
Oh, and I peeled my diff cover back again on Rausch Creek's "Gauntlet"

At Jake's advice I ordered this beast, which was at my door step in 2 days. Ruff Stuff has some excellent customer service

(Sorry JT, I would've loved a Rockcrusher cover but I was hard pressed for time because the diff was losing a quart a day!) Mmm, beefy!
Some pictures that I've borrowed from SurrealNj and IZ-
Coming down to Lake Christy:
Morgan is a natural born swimmer, lol:
I had a really hard time trying to get up this.. didn't realize at the time that my transfer case was a quart and a half low. I think Rookie's old 1354 is on its way out anyway- my low range doesn't seem as effective these days. Oh boy, another addition to the "fix it" list :rolleyes"
It also led to a few burnt clutch moments on Tombstone:
I was really tickled on the teeter totter though.. I'm the first person to get it to balance perfectly AND hold it! Usually the damn thing just bounces back and forth
And lastly, my new obnoxious wheeling shirt
