Hi Everyone! I have a 2002 eddie bauer edition explorer with a v8. Today after my car was turned on(I had to give it a little gas-which is not normal) it kept stalling. it was not running rough, there is no sputtering or jerking, it just shuts off. any ideas?

car stalling when accelerator let up

Recommend you go to AutoZone or another parts store and have the codes read. They usually do it for free. Once you get the codes, post 'em up.

Idle Air Control Valve?
Maybe try to clean it..do a search on the forums for more information.
It's a common problem for these vehicles. I just replaced mine instead of cleaning it. Super easy to swap out.
