I second this request. I want to buy them but would love to see them on an X first. Plus, if I do get them I am debating on whether to get clear coners for the front or just GTS Blackouts???

icon: what color is your truck? if you get Carbon Fiber Alt's, black out the lights. if your truck is white, get Chrome Alt's and clear corner's. just my .002

Alpha: i have seen some on black rangers, and they look schweet! buy them, buy them now.

I have front and rear blackouts because I have a black truck and I bought a new black grille to replace the chrome one about three months ago. BUT, if someone ever decides to make Altezzas for 95-97 (c fiber would be great), then I will be the FIRST to have those! I can only hope....:(

LMAO Ranger.....well after my Altezza experience I will purchase w/ caution. How do you think they will look w/ my clear corners? I am not blacking them out either :)

My X is a two-tone blueish/purple (depending on the light) and grey. I think that I will go with blackouts on the front. Seems to look the best from the pics I have seen so far.

Icon, dont go the black out route. Clear's will look better (yet be more expensive), espicially on a pin...urple (lol, just messing with you) truck. the blackouts would look a bit out of place IMO. and run a set of those tinted alt's in the back (the chrome tinted purple would look tight, if its that purple).

Sara, I know about your Altezza trouble. IMO, a new set of APC's would be fine. if they leak, send them back and they will replace them no questions asked. its iffy on how they will look. you have a black truck so the carbons will look fine then, but you have the silver trim, so the clears will look good too. Chrome and Clear dont go to well anyway IMO. questions/comments just PM me

23 hours 52 minutes left in 2001!

Ranger..where can I get APC's...and not some knock offs? I liked the Altezzas cuz they contrasted the black and went w/ the clear corners and chrome style rims. I think too much black is blah....no offense to anyone.

Sara, i am not 100% sure, but arent the tail's in an explorer the same as the ones in a ranger? if so, i found a set of Carbon Fiber ones, chrome, red, green, blue, and purple.

looking at that, i got a killer idea. your underbody and cab neons are blue... what about blue tails? that'd look pretty smooth. the colored ones are about $175 and the Fiber ones are about $160. the chrome ones are about $150.

but here's a little idea that you should try if you are gonna junk your leaking alt's. get a dremel or something, and cut the lens off the tail. then get a purple magic marker and a blue magic marker. and start coloring. match the chrome to the same color as your underbody lights. then re-attach your lenses with scilicon or something, and see what it'll look like. that would be very cool.

questions/comments, PM me or whatever. and by the way, my name is Phil if you would rather be on a first name basis, i kinda figured Sara was a bit more relaxed than Alpha.

whats up hartman?

"turn that frown upside down"... "thats not an upside down frown, thats a smile. i said upside down frown!" A.La. Simpsons.

Somehow I don't think the whole magic marker thing would work. Have you ever tried coloring plastic with markers? There are lines, and it wipes right off ;) ;) :o

yea, i just thought about that. so you would have to use Testor's transparent model paint and use that.

that would be really cool to see if it would work or not, then it would be an easy way to customize your tail's to exactly match your paint job or your other accessories.

get me?

Any luck finding these?

Those look pretty good. I would like to get ones that are just black and not carbon fiber tho. I didnt see these at procarparts.com . I bought my clear corners from them and I haven't had any problems with them but from things I've heard about their products and service I would rather not buy from them. I guess I'll keep looking.

98Ford

you have a nice ride and your cat looks very close to my cat :D

This is sorta going nowhere. Does anyone know where you can buy these? I've looked all over the web & can't find one place. I was going to contact the person at the above sounddomain link, but can't find any contact info.
