Cargo Mat

I just purchased a 05 Explorer XLS, which I am completely restoring, I have looked all over the internet for the rear carpeted cargo mat and cannot find OEM for the XLS w/o 3rd row seating, can only find OEM with 3rd row seating. PLEASE... any help if someone knows where to find it.. thanks a bunch.

Also... looking to install the daytime running lights, do I just need to install the module?

Are you looking for a cargo mat / protector?....These are not available in carpet. Only rubber and such.

If you are wanting to replace the carpet in the cargo area they do not sell a pre-cut one because it has no exposed edges or seams.

It's just a flat piece of carpet.

Ford does sell OEM carpet by the roll for this purpose.

As for the daytime running lights that can get a little complicated.

If your truck is fog light equiped you will need to verify that the fog light relay box has an additional spot for the DRL relay, and that it is actually wired in. (they share the same fuse) Some trucks have both wired in even though they do not have the DRL or the fogs installed. Those are dealer installed options so many of the trucks they buy come pre-wired in case the customer upgrades.

If it is already wired yes you can locate the plug for the module pull out the "dummy" and just plug in the module.

If not there are aftermarket kits available.
