catalytic converter flange

Ok well i basicly want to get rid of my catalytic converters and what i was wondering is since its bolted to the pipe coming off the manifolds is there any kind of adapter that has a straight pipe that can come off it? i read that guys fitted the pipe over this and welded it. Or is there any other option?

i wouldnt remove the cat, you should just get a magnaflow cat, or something that is basically free flowing. that way you still get power, but dont pollute too much.

if you do wanna take it out, just cut out the cat and clamp on a straight piece of pipe where is used to be.
