I am new member with an '96 XLT V6. The question I have for the board is, my check engine light comes on and the dealer told me that it was my catalytic converter. They replaced the OS2 sensors, but they said, that the sensor after the converter is setting off the check engine light and a new converter would run $700. The truck runs great, but after a two-three weeks after I reset the computer, by disconnecting the battery it comes back on and I used nothing but Texaco gas. Any suggestions?
