CD-6 FM frequency band change

Hi, I just bought a Ford CD-6 radio and the FM frequency band is set for another country, does anyone know how to change it to the US frequency?

There is no way to switch the frequency bands. Ford makes specific radios for specific markets - there are separate tuners made with NAAO (North America), EAO (Europe), and GCC (Arab) countries.

Some aftermarket units have a switch to change bands, ours do not. To "switch" bands on an OEM Ford radio, you'd have to have a radio repair shop replace the tuner.

Thanks Jeff, the seller took tha radio back so I think I'll just go aftermarket - that way I can get sat radio/ipod etc.
