Hey here is a question, has anyone replaced the CD changer that sits under the center arm rest? I am sure somebody has just wondering what aftermarket changers would work with the stock setup? Mines getting 7 years old skips alot I am sure a newer changer would run a lot better.

you could always send it to someone to have it restored back to factory goodness for about 90$

I went through a company called pacific audio on the web.

They fixed my deck and my changer and it works like new. dosn't even skip when i'm wheeling!

When I got my explorer the changer was bad and for some reason kept the whole radio from working, it was just dead, took me six months to figure out it was the changer

Anyway when I did figure it out I just went to the local junkyard and picked one up, I think it was about $100 bucks so if you can get it rebuilt for $90 that might be the better option
