CD Changer under passenger seat

Just thought some people might like to know that you can mount a CD-changer under the passenger seat.

This is in a 2001 Sport. What I had to do to get it to fit was use some homemade shims to lift the back of the seat bracket a little higher to allow the slider spring to clear the changer.

I will take pics tomorrow or Tuesday and post them here.

Just wondering... would you stop using your passenger side seat to slide up for the 3rd or 4th person...... because really driver seat doesnt go up as much... just wondering..

No, the slider works the same as it did before. The changer is exposed when the seat is slid forward though. I'm not worried because I don't let idiots in my car!
