CEL code P0401 on Ford Explorer Sport '02

I have a 2002 Ford Explorer Sport, with approximately 55000 miles. A few months ago I got a CEL and I had it read at advance autoparts and it was a P0401. Now my car is idling rough and will idle out if idling for more than about 5 mins. If accelerating, or driving normally, no problems are noticed. I can tell that fuel economy is decreasing. I have read that the EGR Valve position sensor could be a culprit. Is that possible in my case?

I just got the codes read again. It was 0401, left bank too lean, right bank too lean, and all 6 spark plugs misfiring... any ideas out there

Just wondering if either of you resolved the cause of the p0401 code. I have the same issue my explorer idles rough, pings when warm, and I have the same code. Please let me know as I am looking to solve this problem soon. Any help you can provide would be appreciated.
