CEL code???

Ok my CEL came on a while ago and when I pulled the codes it says code P0455, which is a leak detected in evaporative system. Anyone know what it could be so I do not have to pay $70 for a diagnostic? Someone said maybe the EGR valve gasket, but I don't want to play the guessing and replacing game again, any ideas will help so I can check them out.

The evaporiave system in modern vehicles is so overly sensitive that they love to screw with you. The closed evap. system was another brainchild of the U.S. govenrment's eco. nazies ushered in with the manditation of the OBD II diagnostics system. The only way to find out what is the actual cause is (unfortunately) to have the system tested. The problem could be as simple as a bad gas cap or a cracked hose, but it can also get expensive.
