Center AC Vent Vane Loose

After trying to comply with the law and installing an AC vent-mounted phone holder, the vent on which it was attached has become loose and does not move with the vane control. Is there a fix for this? It's just one of the louvers that don't stay in sync with the others.

I'm guessing that the louvre has come loose from the main slider that allows them to move up/down together. I haven't really checked to see how they are attcahed.

I have the solution I need (mag wireless mount next to display). I gotta try to fix this again. The dealer did it once and if I go back, they might get pissed. I am at 34k miles on the truck.

It's broke. Next time put the mount on the main louver, not the secondary ones.
