AC vent pressure

the last couple days i have noticed my vent pressure on ac max will be fine on start up but will fade out..... but the fan is spinning hard! i took the fan apart to make sure there isnt a nest in there... it was clear, any suggestions?

Check to see if air is being diverted to a different outlet like the defroster. Duct choice is vac operated and your vac drops with throttle. I mean you may have a minor vac leak before or after the console control panel.

Otherwise you could measure for voltage at the fan to see if it's dropping in certain situations. If the fan bearings are wearing out, that might cause some slop that slows the fan down once they heat up.

I don't recall the fan being serviceable but if it were, I'd put a couple drops of heavy oil in the bearings. "Maybe" you can get some in the shaft end, which is the more likely of the two to wear first, but with wear it may only be a temporary solution.
