center consol Not what you might think

I have a 2000 xls.the center consol i have has a black bag were the consol storage area is normally.You just lift the arm rest and there it is.And i am sure its for the explorer concidering it is embroidered with ford and explorer on its sides.And there are loops around the consol for the bags vercro to tie down with.
Does anyone else have this?Was this something special?
I have never seen this before thats why i am asking.

Not many people have them but I don't think they're rare or anything. A lot of STs have them.

They are standard in the Sports I believe, I guess they stuck some in 4Drs also.

I had the same one in my 99 XLS. It was a POS! the bag has very little storage. I replaced it with one from a 93 XLT (freebie). This console is the same length, width and height, but has alot more storage room.

yea, my 00XLS has one - its pretty worthless - unless you spill something and need to take it out to clean it out, i guess

My 00 Xls has one, surprised me, never seen anything like that. I mainyl use it to keep stuff in that I don't like to leave in the truck, radar detector, OBDII scanner. Pretty handy thus far but not to much room.
