Center Console Upgrade

I've been wanting to replace my center console for quite awhile now and after searching the forums, i havent been able to find the information i want. So hopefully you guys can help me out.

I want to swap my entire center console from my 94 xlt and replace it it with one from like a 98 xlt. I am looking for the long console that goes all the way up to the bottom of the dash.

Any help on locating parts and/or how-to's is much appriciated.

it took me a few months to find a console in just ok shape. and i had to pay like $75 for it. only thing i could say to do it keep checking your local junkyards till you get lucky. or do what i did whenever I would go out of town i would check out the junkyards where I was at, that's how i ended up finding mine.

I don't know if a newer console will fit in an older ex or not. it would diffidently be cool to see if it works.
