I have a 2007 Ford Explorer Sport Trac XLT 4x4 4.0. I need to replace the center support bearing assembly on the drive shaft. Has anyone out there replaced this part without having to buy the whole driveshaft assembly?

I had to replace mine too. I was able to find a replacement bearing on both ebay and amazon. It was still about $130. Kinda high, but not as bad as replacing the whole driveshaft.

Sorry for the delayed response. I don't remember where I bought the replacement bearing. I think I had just Googled a search for the bearing. The cheapest price is see it for now is on ebay. It's about $150 now. It wasn't too hard to replace, just a pain having to pull the driveshaft out.
