changing gears.. need info ?

well im going from 3.73s to 4.10s in my 97 5.0 AWD.. now the question i have is how do i get the speedo corrected ? is it just like mustangs that all you have to do is change teh plastic speedo gear or do i need a ford tech to burn a new code into the computer for it to shift right ETC..? thanks for the help guys...

I don't have an answer for you since I'm not familiar with your model Explorer.
