Changing Manual to Automatic Climate Control

If I were to find an Automatic Climate control unit, would I be able to use it in my XLT? I know I would need to get a new trim piece that has the whole for the ACC....

Will the plugs match up is my basic question.

you could use it, but you would have to pull the entire wiring from an explorer with climate control, install the sensors, imo, def not worth it, i pulled one from an explorer and the wiring is not the same at all
