Changing tires on 97 AWD 5.0 and check engine light.

I changed the tires on my AWD rig to a less aggressive tire of the same size and it kicked the check engine light. Is the computer so sensitive that it read the difference in tires?

I did drive it for a half mile with just the fronts changed so there were 2 different treaded tires on it.

what code did it throw?

could a sensor have been knocked off?

Changing the type or size of tire will not cause the CEL to come on.

Dan was right. It just happened to throw the code for the O2 sensor on the drivers side front. Thank god it was the easy one. I just put the console back in this morning from changing the passenger side back sensor.
