changing "tupperware" color

I have a white ex with gray front bumper cover and tupperware down the side. I was wondering if anyone has ever painted their plastic to match the body. Or if I found a Limited ex with white tupperware, would it fit my xlt?

Yeah, a lot of people paint theirs. It makes a world of difference.

I just cleaned up the bumpers real good, used some wax & grease remover, then sprayed some adhesive promoter followed by three or so coats of trim paint (I believe it was Dupli-Color brand).

I would also advise you to paint the black pillars on the liftgate in the back, they also fade usually and look a lot better when painted (but the 98+ doesn't have that on the liftgate).

I also painted the grille insert black.
