Check engine light + high idle are they related?

So I've got a check engine light on, code P0155 which is a ba o2 sensor for bank 2 sensor 1, so driver's side on the header. I've noticed a high idle, pulled maf to clean yesterday, unplugged negative to reset computer, high idle gone, this morning I get the check engine light, had code pulled again just to make sure stil p0155, but now my high idle is back. Are these two related?

Short Story, need to know if Code P0155 can cause a high idle

btw when I say high idle, I mean 1500-2000 at idle, when it does finaly drop it's slow and takes a while
