When i start my car this morning at 11 F temperature i got a check engine light.(P0171 Bank 1 lean and P0174 Bank 2 lean).
Reading here i found that the most common problem with the codes that i pulled out is my upper intake manifold gaskets to fix a vacuum leak that was giving the two engine error codes (P0171 Bank 1 lean and P0174 Bank 2 lean). I have a 1996 explorer with a 4.0L OHV V6 with the plastic upper intake manifold.
i'm thinking to clean the codes and se if they come back.
What do you suggest? is it going to hurt anything?
