check engine light on please help!

ok i have a chek engine light that comes on every now and then so i took it to the dealer and he said the codes are

185-koeo/mass airflow lower than expected.

186-koeo/injector pulse width higher than expected

563-koer/brake on/off (BOO) circut faliure/not activeted during the koer

so can anyone tell me what these exactly mean and which one would set off the check engine light, thanks

What code 186 should say is, "186 Injector pulse width longer than expected or Mass Air Flow (MAF) lower than expected."

I would say that your MAF sensor probably needs cleaning/replacement, or possibly a broken connector to the MAF sensor. I would try cleaning it first.

563-koer/brake on/off (BOO) circuit failure/not activated during the koer

Means the brake pedal wasn't depressed when it was supposed to during the KOER test.

Read the link, and the 2 links in the link, for the next time you need to check your codes (instead of paying the dealer). It's quite easy. All it requires is being able to count to "9", a piece of wire, a pen/pencil, and a piece of paper.

whell i didnt pay the dealer but im gonna try to clean it and go from there
