Check engine light won't turn on.

Hello everyone I would surely appreciate a little help on this. I went to get my 97 Explorer XLT inspected and to my surprise my "mil" light is not working at all so needless to say it failed. Does anyone no how to fix that. I orginally thought it was because I had a indash light out which I fixed but sti no check engine light. I would appreciate any suggestion thanks.

Welcome to this forum! I've moved your thread to the stock 95-01 section. You said that you checked the bulb, but did you check the socket, and all of the fuses?
